Customs & External Relations Manager
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:
- To manage the relationship between COMPANIES and Indonesian Customs, as well as other government or external bodies.
- To ensures that COMPANIES’s import processes run as smoothly as possible and we develop a competitive edge over our competition.
- To work on special projects to enhance our services, develop tailor made solutions for our customers and improve COMPANIES profitability in Indonesia
Job Description
- To promote COMPANIES’s needs at all levels of Indonesia Custom Authorities and develop a strong healthy working relationship between COMPANIES and Indonesian Customs.
- To provide technical expertise to personnel within COMPANIES, and COMPANIES’s customers, on Indonesian Customs rules, regulations and processes
- To ensures that COMPANIES complies with Indonesian customs rules and regulations and that all legal aspects of our clearance activities are being professionally managed
- To provide innovative ideas and solutions towards the management and development of Clearance Operations, to continually look at ways to improve COMPANIES Indonesia’s performance by implementing faster, more reliable and/or efficient clearance methods in all Indonesian Clearance Gateways
- To lead projects which will enhance the service to our customers and realize efficiencies within our operation. To understand customer needs and develop solutions that will exceed their expectations in import service performance
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Having 10 years experience in Customs area
- Have a Good Relationship with a Customs related Department
- Good English Skill
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, required
- Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role ( at Logistic Company is more preferable )
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and offer solutions
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office is required with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- HSE awareness
